The table
Five columns, because five questions decide this purchase. "Live" means something appears on the rep's screen while the prospect is still talking. "Who writes the line" is the column most round-ups skip, and it is the one that decides whether the tool works on a call nobody prepared for.
| Tool | Helps during the live call | Who writes the line | Published price | Trial |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Objeq | Yes. Detects the objection and whispers a 7-step treatment in under two seconds, only the rep sees it | Objeq does, per objection, on the call. Nothing to author in advanceSource: Objeq facts | $99 Starter, $149 Pro per seat per month, no seat minimum, no platform feeSource: Objeq pricing, checked 12 Sep 2026 | 3 days, card up front, charged only when the 3 days end |
| Gong | No. Records, transcribes and analyzes after the call. Its pricing page lists no live coachingSource: gong.io/pricing, checked 12 Sep 2026 | Nobody, during the call. "Licenses are priced per user" and "There is a platform fee based on the number of users supported"Source: gong.io/pricing, checked 12 Sep 2026. Third-party listings put it near $1,360 to $1,600 per user per year plus a platform fee; that is reporting, not Gong's number | Not published |

"Real-time transcription, instant insights, and live battlecards empower reps to respond to objections"Source: clari.com/products/copilot, checked 12 Sep 2026 | Written in advance. The number that decides this category
Count the live group again, slowly. Clari Copilot, Balto, Avoma and Outreach all put something useful on the rep's screen mid-call, and in all four the words came from a person who wrote them earlier. Clari says it out loud, and it is a compliment to them, not a dig:
"Clari Copilot, our conversational intelligence tool, comes with seven real-time battlecards built in... handcrafted sales battlecards by the always brilliant folks at 30 Minutes to President's Club."
Clari, Clari Labs battlecards post, clari.com, checked 12 Sep 2026. The same post reports: "Sellers who use Clari Copilot's real-time battlecards see 10% more wins, on average, than those who don't." That is Clari's own measurement of their own product, and we quote it because it is the best public evidence that live help on a call changes the outcome. So the real question is not live or not live. It is what happens when the prospect says something nobody wrote a card for. A library of approved answers is excellent messaging control and it is worth paying for. It is also, by construction, a library of the objections you already knew about. If your reps lose deals on sentences your enablement deck never anticipated, more cards will not fix it.
Which one to buy, honestly
We sell one of these. Here is where the other seven win anyway.
- You want to know what happened on 4,000 calls last quarter. Gong. Nothing here is close, and a whisper tool is the wrong purchase. Read Gong alternatives only if the price or the platform fee is the blocker.
- You run a contact center on a CCaaS platform with script adherence and compliance rules. Balto. That is the room it was built for.
- Your messaging is written, approved and the problem is consistency. Clari Copilot or Avoma. Avoma is cheaper and does far more besides the live layer.
- You want the call documented and the CRM filled in. Sybill or Oliv, and both cost less than us.
- You already pay for Outreach. Ask your rep which Amplify package you are on before you buy anything else. The live cards are listed on Essentials and Plus, and not in the Amplify Core list.
- Your reps freeze on the objection itself, and nobody has time to write and maintain a card library. That is the gap we built for. Objeq hears the objection, detects the fear behind it, and whispers a 7-step treatment in under two seconds, in Hebrew and English.
The column nobody else publishes: Hebrew
If your floor sells in Hebrew, most of this table collapses. Objeq is Hebrew and English end to end, transcription, objection detection and the whisper itself, and Hebrew is native rather than translated (Objeq facts). Avoma publishes 75+ languages for real-time transcription but no language list for the live cards, so whether a Hebrew trigger phrase fires one is unstated (checked 11 Sep 2026). Outreach's Kaia Translations covers "call or meeting summaries and transcripts", which is after the call (checked 12 Sep 2026). For Gong, Clari, Balto and Sybill, the pages we checked publish nothing about Hebrew either way, and we are not going to guess on their behalf.
How we built this table, and what to distrust in it
Every cell came from the vendor's own website, quoted where the wording matters, with the date we loaded the page. Gong, Clari and Outreach publish no prices at all, so the only numbers for them are third-party listings, and we label those as reporting rather than fact. We have not run a paid seat of any of the seven competitors, so every "how it works" claim here is what the vendor publishes, not what we measured. Prices in this category change without notice. If a cell matters to your decision, open the source link next to it and check the date.
Written by the Objeq team. Objeq is built by Roni Shmuel, a sales coach who ran a floor of dozens of reps and trained more than 100 salespeople one on one (about). We have an obvious interest in one column of this table and a strong interest in the other four being right, because a buyer who finds an error here never comes back.
Questions people actually ask
Which sales coaching software works during the live call?
Clari Copilot, Balto, Avoma, Outreach and Objeq. Gong and Sybill work after the call. Oliv lists a real-time answer assistant in its $29 pack but does not describe it as objection coaching. Of the five that are clearly live, four display a card written in advance and Objeq generates the answer during the call.
How much does sales coaching software cost in 2026?
Four of the eight publish a price: Objeq $99 to $149 per seat per month, Avoma $19 to $39 per seat annual plus a $29 real-time add-on, Sybill free to $90 per user per month, Oliv $19 to $29 per user per month per pack. Gong, Clari, Balto and Outreach publish nothing and route you to a demo or a quote. Checked 12 September 2026.
What is the cheapest way to get real-time guidance on a call?
On published prices, Avoma: a $19 Startup seat annual plus the $29 Conversation Intelligence add-on, so $48 per seat annual, $64 month to month (avoma.com/pricing, checked 11 September 2026). You also write the cards yourself. Objeq is $99 and writes them for you. Those are two different purchases at two different prices, and the cheap one is genuinely cheap.
Is there a sales coaching tool that works in Hebrew?
Objeq, end to end: Hebrew transcription, Hebrew objection detection and the Hebrew whisper, native rather than translated. None of the other seven publishes a Hebrew language list for its live layer.
Do I need Gong and a real-time tool, or just one?
They do not overlap. Gong tells you what happened on every call your team ran. A live tool changes what happens on the call in progress. If the deals are lost on the call rather than in the pipeline review, buy the live one first. If you cannot see your pipeline at all, buy Gong first.
Head to head, one competitor at a time
Each of these goes deeper than a table row, with the vendor's own words and both price lists: Objeq vs Gong, Objeq vs Clari Copilot, Objeq vs Balto, Objeq vs Oliv, Objeq vs Sybill, Objeq vs Avoma. Also: the best real-time sales coaching tools, inside sales coaching software for a high-volume desk team, and sales coaching feedback tools if what you need is the feedback loop rather than the live moment.
