Step 1. Install the Chrome extension. Once. From the Chrome Web Store. Then sign in to the extension with the same email and password you just signed up with.
Step 2. Open the call in a Chrome tab. Meet, Zoom, or Teams. In a tab, the browser version.
A regular call from your phone doesn't go through a tab. Neither does the Zoom desktop app. Not from your phone. Not desktop Zoom. Only in a tab.
