Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes what information Objeq collects, how we use it, and what we do — and do not — retain when you use the Service, including the Objeq Chrome extension.

1. Information we collect

Account data: name (if provided), email address, and company (if provided) when you sign up or join our waitlist.
Billing data: payments are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record). Objeq does not store your full card number or payment instrument details.
Usage data: feature interactions and session metadata used to operate and improve the Service.

2. How we handle audio & transcripts

When you use the live coaching feature, audio from your call is streamed in real time to our speech-to-text subprocessors and to our AI analysis subprocessors. Raw call audio is processed in memory and is never stored. Call transcripts and coaching events (such as the objection lines Objeq detected and the suggestions it showed) are stored to provide you with call history and coaching feedback, and are automatically deleted after 90 days.

3. Demo conversations

When you interact with the live demo on our website (/demo), your conversation is stored to allow us to improve the demo experience, and the conversation text is automatically deleted after 90 days. Demo sessions are not linked to your identity unless you voluntarily submit contact information. Submitted contact information is associated with your demo session only if you choose to provide it.

4. Legal basis & consent

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), based on your consent (waitlist sign-up and demo usage), and on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service. You are solely responsible for obtaining any consent required from call participants under applicable wiretapping or recording-consent laws in your jurisdiction.

5. Subprocessors

We share data with third-party service providers strictly to deliver the Service: Railway (application hosting), Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (website hosting), Deepgram and Soniox (speech-to-text), OpenAI, Anthropic and Google (AI analysis), Paddle (payment processing, as Merchant of Record), and SendGrid (transactional email). Each subprocessor handles data under their own privacy terms.

6. Data security & retention

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (TLS) for all audio and data. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Call transcripts and coaching events are automatically deleted after 90 days. When you delete your account, your personal data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, and similar), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@objeq.io.
