Objeq vs Avoma: the card you wrote, vs the line you did not

Updated September 11, 2026 · By the Objeq team

Objeq vs Avoma in one paragraph: both put something on the rep's screen while the call is still live, and that is where the similarity ends. Avoma is an all-in-one meeting assistant: notes, scheduling, call scoring, forecasting. Its live layer is Answer Cards, and in Avoma's own words, "Admins create answer cards with custom trigger phrases, approved responses, and battlecard content." You write the answer in advance, Avoma fires it at the right second and keeps it on screen for 20 seconds. It is also not in the base seat: real-time guidance lives in the Conversation Intelligence add-on, $29 per seat per month annual on top of a $19 Startup seat, so the honest entry price for live guidance is $48 a seat annual, $64 month to month (avoma.com/pricing, checked 11 September 2026). Objeq works the other way round: nobody writes the cards. It hears the objection, detects the fear behind it, and whispers a 7-step treatment built for that specific objection, in Hebrew and English, at $99 to $149 per seat per month. If your messaging is already written and approved, Avoma is cheaper and does more. If the problem is that nobody knows what to say, a library of pre-approved cards does not solve it.

Avoma, real-time sales guidance page, avoma.com, checked 11 Sep 2026. We quote it in full because it is an accurate description and it contains the whole difference between the two products: the quality of what a rep sees mid-call is the quality of what somebody wrote before the call.

The real price of Avoma's live layer

Avoma's headline number is $19 a seat. That is the Startup plan on annual billing, and it does not include real-time guidance. Real-time sits in the Conversation Intelligence add-on at $29 a seat annual, $35 month to month. So the smallest configuration that puts an answer card on a rep's screen is $48 a seat on annual billing, or $64 if you pay monthly. On the Organization plan it is $53 annual, and on Enterprise $68.

We are spelling this out because "from $19" and "live guidance" are on the same website and they are not the same purchase. Even at $48 Avoma is half our price, so this is not a gotcha. It is the number you should compare against ours, instead of the one in the headline.

Where Avoma is genuinely the better buy

If your team's pain is the meeting layer, Avoma wins and it is not close. One vendor for notes, scheduling, call scoring, forecasting and lead routing, at a price per seat that is under half of ours, with fourteen days to try all of it without handing over a card. We do not have a scheduler, a lead router or a forecast, and we are not going to pretend a debrief screen is revenue intelligence.

Avoma also wins on messaging control. If your company has an approved answer to every objection and the problem is that reps go off script, a centrally managed card library is exactly the right tool, and it is auditable in a way a generated line is not.

Where Objeq wins, and it is one thing

A card can only contain an answer somebody already wrote down. That works for the objections you expected: price, a named competitor, a known feature gap. It does nothing for the sentence you hear once a quarter, phrased in a way nobody at your company anticipated, twenty seconds before the prospect decides.

Objeq does not look the objection up. It hears what the prospect actually said, works out the fear underneath it, and builds the treatment for that sentence, in seven steps, while the call is still running. There is no card library to author, no trigger phrase to maintain, and no gap between what your reps meet and what your enablement team predicted.

The second thing, and for some teams it is the whole decision: Hebrew. Objeq runs in Hebrew end to end, natively, not as a translation layer on top of an English model.

Can you run both?

Technically yes, and for a mature team it is a reasonable setup: Avoma for the meeting layer and the after-call analytics, Objeq in the Chrome tab for the live moment. They do not fight over the same seat. But if you are paying for Avoma's Conversation Intelligence add-on purely for the answer cards, that is the line item to look at first. It is $29 to $35 a seat that overlaps with what a copilot does, and only one of the two writes the answer for you.

FAQ

Does Avoma coach reps during a live call?

Yes. Avoma publishes real-time sales guidance: it detects trigger phrases, buyer signals and objections during the call and displays an answer card on the rep's screen for 20 seconds. This is a genuine live feature, not a post-call one, and any comparison that says otherwise is wrong. Checked 11 September 2026.

How much does Avoma's real-time guidance actually cost?

Real-time guidance is part of the Conversation Intelligence add-on, $29 per seat per month on annual billing and $35 month to month, on top of a base seat. The cheapest working combination is the $19 Startup seat plus the add-on, so $48 per seat per month annual, or $64 month to month. Objeq is $99 (Starter) or $149 (Pro) per seat per month with everything included. Checked 11 September 2026.

Who writes the answer the rep sees?

In Avoma, your admins do: they create answer cards with custom trigger phrases, approved responses and battlecard content, managed centrally. In Objeq, nobody writes anything in advance. The copilot hears the objection, detects the fear behind it and produces a 7-step treatment for that specific sentence while the call is live.

Does Avoma work in Hebrew?

Avoma publishes 75+ languages for real-time transcription on its home page. Its real-time sales guidance page does not publish a language list, so we cannot say whether a Hebrew trigger phrase fires a card, and we are not claiming it does not. Objeq runs in Hebrew end to end: transcription, objection detection and the whisper itself.

Can I use Objeq and Avoma together?

Yes. Objeq runs in a Chrome side panel next to the tab the call plays in, Avoma joins the scheduled meeting from your calendar. They do not compete for the same seat. The overlap worth checking is the Conversation Intelligence add-on, which is where Avoma's live answer cards live.
