Clari Copilot vs Gong: one of them no longer has a website

Measured on clari.com, salesloft.com and gong.io on September 29, 2026, with redirects switched off · By the Objeq team

Short answer. Before you compare them, know that clari.com now 301s to salesloft.com on every URL we tried, including the Clari Copilot product page. We checked six URLs with redirects switched off this morning and the mapping is path by path, which is a planned migration, not a parked domain. The name Copilot is gone: it does not appear once on the page that replaced it, and the login menu now reads "Log in to Conversations". The capability survived intact. Salesloft Conversation Intelligence says "Battlecards surface in real time on every call" and "Give reps real-time AI guidance during calls to handle objections". Gong claims nothing of the kind; its only "live" feature is a rehearsal before the meeting. And neither one publishes a price, so the money comparison is a quote against a quote.

The redirect table, because this is the part nobody else has checked

We ran six requests with redirect: "manual" so the server's own Location header is what you see, not where a browser ended up.

Requested 29 September 2026. Read the third row twice. The old pricing URL does not land on a pricing page, it lands on a demo booking form.

Two things follow from that table. First, the Clari Copilot product page has no successor URL: it drops you on a homepage, while /about and /blog both got a proper destination. Second, Clari Forecast kept its brand and Clari Copilot did not. The Salesloft login menu, read the same morning, lists "Log in to Salesloft", "Log in to Clari Forecast", "Log in to Conversations", "Log in to Drift" and "Log in to Groove". Forecast is still called Clari. The conversation product is just called Conversations.

Every competitor cell is that vendor's own published wording, read 29 September 2026. Green marks the winner on that row only, not overall.

The capability survived the rebrand, and that matters more than the name

It would be easy and wrong to write "Clari Copilot is dead". The product page is gone; the thing it did is sold, in plainer language than before.

"Coach reps during calls" then "Give reps real-time AI guidance during calls to handle objections, navigate tough conversations, and deliver confident responses that move deals forward."

"Coach deals in motion" then "Battlecards surface in real time on every call. Coachable moments become tasks in rep workflows, turning sales coaching from a weekly meeting into a continuous part of how deals get done."

"AI call summaries, smart follow-up emails, and automated CRM updates mean zero post-call admin."

Salesloft, Conversation Intelligence, salesloft.com/platform/conversations, read 29 September 2026. The string "Copilot" does not appear on the page.

Take the in-call claim at face value. It is real and it is specific. The only word worth arguing about is battlecard. A battlecard is content a human wrote in advance, stored in a library, surfaced when the system matches a trigger. That is excellent on the five objections your enablement team already knew about. It is silent on the sixth, and the sixth is where deals die.

Gong, checked for the third time in a month, still helps before and after

We keep re-opening this page rather than citing our own older note, because a claim that a competitor lacks something is the claim most likely to go stale under us.

"Pinpoint skill gaps from real conversations. Instantly surface where reps are struggling and prescribe targeted training in the flow of work."

"Turn past conversations into realistic training scenarios."

"Practice every upcoming customer meeting through live AI role-play before it happens."

Reps "receive instant automated feedback, and ask AI Coach follow-up questions after every session."

Gong, Enable, gong.io/platform/sales-enablement-software, read 29 September 2026. Every mechanism is built on conversations that already happened, or on a rehearsal that happens "before it happens". Checked also on 30 August and 28 September 2026, unchanged.

So on the one row this page was written for, these two are not competitors at all. Salesloft coaches inside the call. Gong coaches around it. Anyone comparing them on in-call help is comparing a feature against its absence.

Neither one will give you a number

Most "Clari Copilot vs Gong" articles quote a per-seat price for one or both. We opened both pricing surfaces the same morning and there is no figure to quote.

"Licenses are priced per user. There is a platform fee based on the number of users supported. You can integrate your existing tech stack for free."

Gong, gong.io/pricing, read 29 September 2026. No dollar figure appears on the page. Its first form question is "How big is your team?", with bands 1-50, 51-1,000, 1,001-9,999 and 10,000+.

www.clari.com/pricing/ → 301 → https://www.salesloft.com/see-it-live

On the Salesloft pricing page the same morning: no plan names, no figures, "Talk to Sales" and a business email field.

Requested 29 September 2026 with redirects switched off. The pricing page for this product no longer exists on either domain.

That is a procurement fact, not a feature gap, and for a team of eight it is usually the whole decision. Two quotes, two sales cycles, and no way to sanity-check either one against a list price.

So which one should you buy

Buy against the failure you actually have, and check which entity is on the contract.

You want live help on the call and you want it from a platform that also owns the sequence, the deal and the forecast. Salesloft. The in-call claim is explicit, the battlecards are real, and the rest of the revenue stack is in the same login. Budget for someone to own the card library, because an unmaintained library is a silent feature.

You have hundreds of calls a month, a forecast nobody trusts, and you need the review layer to be unimpeachable. Gong. Nothing on this page tries to talk you out of it. Just do not buy it expecting help while the call is running.

Your reps lose the deal at minute four, on the objection nobody wrote a card for. That minute is the only thing Objeq does. It is a Chrome extension, it reads the objection that was actually said instead of matching a card written in advance, it publishes its price, and it runs in Hebrew end to end. It writes nothing to your CRM and replaces neither of these two.

Questions people ask next

Did Salesloft acquire Clari, or the other way round?

We are not going to tell you, because we did not measure it. What we measured is the direction of the redirects and the shape of the login menu, and both point the same way: clari.com resolves to salesloft.com, and the surviving nav is Salesloft's with Clari Forecast inside it. Who bought whom is a question for a filing, not for a comparison page. If you need the entity name for a contract, ask their sales team to put it in writing.

Is Clari Forecast affected?

It kept its name. The login menu on salesloft.com reads "Log in to Clari Forecast" alongside "Log in to Salesloft", "Log in to Conversations", "Log in to Drift" and "Log in to Groove". Forecast survived the rebrand as a named product; Copilot did not.

My comparison spreadsheet has clari.com links in it. Are they broken?

They resolve, which is worse than broken, because they resolve somewhere else. Every one we tried returns 301 rather than 404, so a link checker will pass them and a human clicking through will land on a different company's homepage. If your shortlist was built before this migration, re-open every Clari row.

Where can I read the head-to-head against Objeq?

Each one has its own page, under the same quote-and-date rule as this one: Objeq vs Clari Copilot, Objeq vs Salesloft and Objeq vs Gong. The other competitor-against-competitor pages are Gong vs Outreach and Oliv AI vs Gong.

Who else claims in-call coaching?

Outreach does, in the same explicit way, and we quote it on Gong vs Outreach. Cresta does, for contact centres. Most of the category does not, whatever the round-up articles say, and we keep the list of who actually ships a browser extension on sales coaching Chrome extensions.
