Objeq vs Convo in 2026: both help during the call, so the question is where they run and what they cost

Updated September 30, 2026 · By the Objeq team

Short answer. Convo and Objeq do the same core job. Both listen to a live sales call and put a reply on the rep's screen while the buyer is still talking. Convo runs locally on your computer as a private overlay. It covers six languages, and after the call it drafts the follow-up and syncs notes to your CRM. Its live assistant sits on the Professional plan at $52.49 to $69.99 a month. Objeq runs as a Chrome side panel next to the call tab. It works in English and Hebrew, composes a step-by-step treatment for the objection just spoken, stays silent through discovery and small talk, and costs $99 a seat. Convo is cheaper and does more after the call. Objeq is narrower, and it is the one of the two that speaks Hebrew.

What Convo is, in its own words

"The #1 Real-Time AI Sales Assistant & Coach."

Convo, home page, itsconvo.com, checked 30 Sep 2026. That ranking is their claim, and we have not seen a source for it.

"Convo listens to the conversation, surfaces the right reply on your screen, and helps you walk out of every call with the result you came in for."

Convo, home page, itsconvo.com, checked 30 Sep 2026.

It also describes how it runs, and this is the biggest practical difference between us:

"Convo runs locally on your device. No bot joins, no recording notification appears, and the overlay is visible only to you."

Which Convo plan has the live assistant

On the Convo pricing page, the line "Live Assistant: real-time answers" appears under Professional. Starter lists "Real-time insights" and "Basic usage limits". Checked 30 Sep 2026. Starter shows $22.49 and $29.99 a month and Professional shows $52.49 and $69.99, depending on the billing period. Enterprise is custom and billed annually. No plan publishes its usage limit in minutes or hours. So the fair comparison is Convo Professional at $52.49 to $69.99 against Objeq Starter at $99. Convo is still cheaper, by roughly half.

Where Convo is the right answer and we are not

Your calls do not run in a browser. Convo runs on the device, so a desktop Zoom or Webex call works. Objeq needs the call in a Chrome tab.

You sell in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese or Italian. Convo lists all five. Objeq does not.

You want the follow-up written and the CRM updated. Convo does both. Objeq writes nothing to your CRM.

Price is the deciding line. Convo's live plan costs about half of ours.

Where Objeq is

Hebrew. Convo's list has six languages and Hebrew is not one. Objeq's Hebrew is native: transcription, detection and the whisper.

The objection moment only. Objeq decides first whether the sentence was an objection, stays silent through discovery, small talk and a bad connection, then walks the rep through the treatment one step at a time.

Nothing to install on the computer. A Chrome extension, no desktop app.

A note on the Chrome Web Store

A listing called "Convo - AI Meeting Assistant" exists in the Chrome Web Store, offered by Markus Kellermann, with 15 users, described as analyzing meeting notes. Checked 30 Sep 2026. The itsconvo.com pages we read do not link to it, and we could not confirm that it is the same company. Do not judge Convo by it.

What we can prove, and what we cannot

Everything quoted from Convo above is linked and dated to 30 Sep 2026. We have not used their product, we have not spoken to them, and we cannot say how good their suggestions are on a real call. On our side, the facts page puts the price, the setup time and the behaviour in the objection moment in writing, dated. We have no published win-rate study and neither, as far as we can find, do they.

FAQ

Does Convo help during the live call?

Yes. Its home page says it "surfaces the right reply on your screen" during the conversation, and the plan that lists "Live Assistant: real-time answers" is Professional. Checked 30 Sep 2026.

Does Convo support Hebrew?

Not on its published list. The home page names English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese and Italian. Checked 30 Sep 2026.

Why is Objeq more expensive?

Objeq sells one job, the objection moment, and charges $99 for it. If you need six languages or CRM follow-up, Convo gives you more for less, and you should buy it.

Can I run both?

On a Chrome-tab call, technically yes, but two assistants speaking on the same screen is one too many. Pick one per call.
